About Missing Persons Commentary

Missing Persons Commentary is an independent publication dedicated to missing-person cases, unsolved crimes, and the stories surrounding them.

Founded and written by Shane Lambert, the site examines cases through research, commentary, publicly available information, and a commitment to keeping attention on people who might otherwise be forgotten.

I am a freelance writer, not a professional investigator or law-enforcement officer. No professional investigators are associated with Missing Persons Commentary.

The goal is simple: bring attention to missing people, examine the facts, ask questions, and keep these cases in the public conversation.

Every case involves real people and real families. For that reason, Missing Persons Commentary aims to approach its subjects with respect while recognizing that information surrounding an investigation can change over time.
