A Second Look at the Case: Commentary

Original publication: September 2017 at my old Blogger blog
Second look: September 19th, 2026
Kimberly Ann Marshall disappeared from Tyler in March 2017 and has remained missing for more than nine years. Her last known location was at a Salvation Army homeless shelter, located at 633 N. Broadway Avenue in Tyler, Texas. Her location, at a homeless shelter, has always been a clue as to her well-being, in my opinion. These places are where people go when they don’t have anywhere else to go.
Her case remains one where there are few details available.

The only development I could find that could potentially have any substance is that someone in a Facebook group that advocates for missing people claimed that she saw Kim among the homeless population. The Facebook Group is called Tyler Texas Missing Persons Support and Awareness Group. It recycles the same posts, so you have to scroll to the May 17th, 2026 posting involving Kim to read the comments. It’s a good Facebook post to read as there was some engagement, which may or may not have substance.
A woman posted the following comment: “I called the Center for missing and exploited children and left them a vm regarding seeing this woman in my neighborhood for years. She was always asking for money and holding a sign. She was pregnant twice that i remember. She told me her name was Kim.”
It’s unclear what dates she is referring to. If she is referring to something after March 17th, 2017, then that is significant. If she is referring to beforehand, then it’s not significant, as that would not update Kim’s location after her last sighting. You can use the Facebook link below, which was good on September 19, 2026.
